Wejha Store (وجهة) sells stationery, school and university supplies, art supplies and gifts online in Egypt. This policy explains in plain language what information we collect when you use wejhastore.com, why we use it, who helps us handle it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Wejha Store is an online store based in Egypt. For any question about your information, message us on WhatsApp at +20 104 321 8741 or email contact@wejhastore.com.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name and mobile number
- Your email address
- Your delivery address (governorate, area, street, building details and any landmark you add)
- Your order details: the products, amounts, delivery information and your order history with us
- Any notes you add to your order
- If you allow analytics cookies: how you reached us on that visit (for example directly, from a search engine, social media or a campaign link), your device type and how many pages you viewed. Our store software (WooCommerce) saves this with your order using short-lived cookies that last only for your visit.
When you pay
- The payment method you choose and the payment status of your order.
- Card and mobile-wallet payments are handled by our payment provider, Kashier, on its secure payment page. We never see or store your full card number or security code.
- If you pay by InstaPay, we keep the transfer receipt you upload so we can confirm your payment.
When you create an account
- Your name, email address, saved addresses and order history. Your password is stored in a protected form that we can’t read.
When you contact us
- The messages you send us on WhatsApp, by email or by phone, and the details you share in them.
When you browse the store
- Technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type and the pages you visit, plus the cookies described below. This helps us run the site and keep it secure.
How we use your information
- To process, confirm, prepare and deliver your order, including contacting you by phone or WhatsApp about it (for example, to confirm a cash-on-delivery order or arrange delivery).
- To take payments and handle cancellations, returns and refunds.
- To answer your questions and give you customer support.
- To protect our store and customers from fraud, misuse and fake orders.
- To improve the store: to see which pages and products are useful and to fix problems.
- To measure how our Facebook and Instagram ads perform, only with your permission (see “Cookies and your choices”).
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we won’t send you marketing messages unless you’ve agreed to receive them.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files that your browser saves. We use three kinds:
- Necessary: these keep the store working, such as your cart, checkout, signing in, security, your language and your cookie choices. They are always on.
- Analytics (optional): Google Analytics helps us understand how the store is used, such as which pages are visited and how visitors find us (for example, through a campaign link). Our store software (WooCommerce) also uses short-lived cookies to note how you reached us and saves this with your order; that information stays within our store.
- Advertising (optional): the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API help us measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads lead to visits and orders. This uses Meta cookies such as
_fbpand_fbc.
Optional cookies stay off until you choose. When we use them, the site asks you on your first visit: you can accept all, reject the optional ones, or choose by category. Saying no doesn’t affect your shopping in any way.
You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. We remember your choice for 6 months, and we may ask again if this policy changes in a way that affects it. When you withdraw a choice, we stop that kind of measurement from then on and remove the related cookies from your browser. Withdrawing doesn’t undo measurement that already happened, and an order you placed while advertising cookies were allowed may still be counted once when it’s completed.
More about analytics and ad measurement
If you allow advertising measurement, we may share with Meta: the steps you take in the store (viewing a product, adding to cart, starting checkout, completing an order) with product details and order value; technical information such as your IP address, browser details and Meta cookie identifiers; and, for orders, your email address and mobile number (and your customer number if you have an account), converted into a coded format (hashed) before they are sent. This lets Meta match the activity to the right account without us sending those details in readable form. Meta uses this to measure and improve our ads, as described in Meta’s own privacy policy.
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives similar activity information (pages, products, cart and orders, and how you arrived), plus technical information from your browser. We don’t send your name, email address or mobile number to Google Analytics.
Who we share information with
We share only what each party needs to do its job:
- Delivery: whoever delivers your order (our team or a delivery partner) receives your name, phone number, address and, for cash on delivery, the amount to collect.
- Payments: Kashier for card and mobile-wallet payments; your bank or wallet provider for InstaPay and wallet transfers.
- Hosting and email: Hostinger hosts our website and email.
- Messaging: WhatsApp (Meta) when you chat with us or we contact you about your order.
- Technical providers that help us run the store and our order messaging.
- Analytics and advertising: Google (Google Analytics) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), only with your permission.
- Authorities: when the law requires it, or to protect our rights and our customers (for example, in a fraud case).
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Egypt.
How long we keep it
- Orders and payments: as long as needed to complete your order, handle returns and questions, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
- Your account: while your account is open. You can ask us to close it at any time.
- Messages: as long as needed to help you and keep a record of what we agreed.
- Cookies: we remember your cookie choice for 6 months and the source of your visit (such as the ad campaign you came from) for up to 30 days. Google and Meta set the lifetime of their own cookies.
When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
- Correct anything that’s inaccurate (you can also update most details yourself in “My account”)
- Delete your information, except what we have to keep by law, such as order and invoice records
- Stop using your information for analytics or advertising, or withdraw your consent at any time
Contact us and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can. We may first need to confirm your identity to protect your information. If you’re not satisfied with our reply, you can contact the authority responsible for personal data protection in Egypt.
Keeping your information safe
The whole site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), card and wallet payments are made on Kashier’s secure payment page, and only the members of our team who need order information can access it.
Children
We don’t knowingly collect children’s information for advertising. If you’re a parent and think your child has shared their information with us, contact us and we’ll help.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we’ll point out important changes on the site.
